metal is too soft to serve as a knife sharpener
I was immediately disappointed upon using this product. The metal is just too soft. The cutting or sharpening blades seem to be made of hardware store washers. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I ordered 4 of these as gifts but can not in good conscience give them to anyone. I did not return this product as the effort just didn't justify the recoup of the original price.
I own a similar product of higher quality and it works perfectly.
Poor quality
This is not your mothers knife sharpener. If any thing it takes the edge off your blade. The steel wheels should have a flat edge to sharpen the knife. The wheels look like washers from the hardware store?
