NewAir AIC-210 Commercial Grade 1 Quart Ice Cream & Sorbet Maker

N.A. Ice Cream
This automatic ice cream maker is perfect for that need for speed !!!
It works great as long as you measure everything as to the instructions.
I have only used it twice but each time was a blast. The end result was perfect ice cream.

So long, Haagen Dazs!
**Updated 05/09/2013: In my original review below, I reported that the bowl stuck in the freezer when I made a second batch of ice cream immediately after making the first batch. I found a tip from a blogger named Lili Chin that worked beautifully! I'll post a link to her blog in the comments below, as links can't be put in the reviews themselves. Ms. Chin attributes the tip to David Vo: "Wipe down the outside of the canister with alcohol (eg, Vodka) before lowering it into the machine. The high freezing point of alcohol will prevent the metal canister from sticking." Ms. Chin reports on her blog that this worked for her, and I can attest that wiping the outside of the canister with vodka worked for me tonight. I was able to make 4 batches of ice cream back to back and the canister didn't stick at all.**

I've wanted an ice cream maker with a compressor for years and when I found a great deal on the NewAir AIC-210 Commercial Grade 1 Quart Ice Cream & Sorbet Maker, I jumped...

Just got it this past week and have made tart frozen yogurt twice. So far it has been outstanding, a quart was complete in about 30 minutes. I used good quality Greek yogurt (2% fat), a relatively small amount of sweetener, a little vanilla extract, and some no fat half and half (about 1/3 to 1/2 the volume of the yogurt). Tastes just like Pink Berry at about 1/3 the price!
