Special accommodation made by manufacturer
I ordered this case to display a knife made from semi precious gemstones, charoite and jade. The case did not accommodate the unusual knife and I returned it with measurements of the knife. The manufacturer designed special pedestals and sent them with a replacement case. I am quite satisfied with the treatment I received from the manufacturer and the resulting case.
Good universal display case
So far I have bought 2 of these to display engraved knives for gifts. The knives used are the - MTECH-MT-122BK-Fixed-12-Inch-Overall - and they fit really well in this case. The knives sit at a slight angle rather than perpendicular to the ground. At first I wasn't fond of that, but once I got the blades engraved with the writing and set it out on a desk it looked really well. I recommend this case if you want to have a nice display case that isn't going to cost you a ton of money.
