Smart Cook Tortillera Tortilla Press

It works but it could be better
The tortilla press makes round tortillas in less time than trying to make them without a press. My disappointment lay in the fact that side of the tortilla closes to the handle base is thin while the side furthest is thicker and the middle part is the thickest. for regular tortillas it may not be as noticeable but when making tortillas with special ingredients it would be nice if the tortilla press made even tortillas and didn't bend around the dough somewhat. If you don't mind having your tortillas a bit thicker then its great (it doesn't get much thicker than a pre-cooked store package tortilla). I like mine to be pretty thin and even when I toss them on the pan. My current solution for the bowing in the middle is to press the middle with my palm and lean into it for a couple seconds. I'll probably continue to use this press and do a little extra with the rolling pin if I want to get them thin. It still helps with saving time.

Broke the first time I used it
I'm a chef so I'll admit I'm a bit hard on things, however this press broke on the 3rd tortilla I made....really?...the 3rd tortila? Come on!

OK product, crappy name
Does what it's designed to do, and does it acceptably. But, someone please tell their marketing department that "tortillera" is Spanish for "lesbian".
